I don’t know why, but recently I’ve hardly studied any Japanese and since I’m moving there soon it’s particularly bad. Today, however, things are different! Thanks to an article I read today I managed to find my determination! (This article right here: http://www.abroadinjapan.com/?p=23)
So please, everyone, give this article a read!

So most of us in the UK finally got our placements yesterday. Despite not having requested Nagasaki I’m more than pretty happy with the results! My first choice was Fukuoka City because I really wanted to go back to that prefecture (having lived in Kitakyushu for a year 2012-2013) and yet I feel no sense of disappointment. Especially since I’ll be pretty close to it anyway.
Over the months I, like many others I’m sure, having been furiously searching for Blogs and vlogs related to JET, anything to quench my curiosity, and many of the ones I found were all based in Nagasaki. Not only that, but the day I got my results I was supposed to meet up with a friend, and guess where her hometown is? Yup, you guessed it, Nagasaki. I’m not sure if I would call this something so intricate and obscure as fate, but I do believe that this is, for risk of sounding cliche as hell here, meant to be.
I don’t know where in Nagasaki I’m going yet, which means I’m being hired by the prefecture? And I will most likely be working in a High school? I’m not sure yet but i’ll keep you updated!
